The McGraths

"Scott has recently completed a full landscaping of our small garden, it was over grown, which made it look small and cold. He sat down with us and showed us some design ideas and once we came to a design we liked he tracked down the patio slabs we wated and got to work. He and his team completed the work quickly and efficiently and showed a real eye for detail. We are very pleased with his work and would recomend him to anyone."

Material Sourcing

We started Mr and Mrs McGraths with a budget. They had a baby on the way and wanted to have a clean maintenance free garden whilst staying within their budget. We started off by me bringing them various samples of slabs within their budget, once they'd chosen which one they liked we then draw out a design. A full garden clearance was required which consisted of 14 tons of soil and hardcore being removed. Once this was complete we set out formwork to the size of their patio. This gave Lewis & Jo a chance to see how big their patio was going to be a change any minor details if they wanted. The patio was pointed with a GeoFix pointing compound which is more expensive than standard concrete mortar but what you pay extra you save on the labour as this is stronger than concrete and takes half the time to apply. Once the patio was finished the last job was the lawn. We buy our turf and soil from a highly credited Essex supplier. The lawn is driven down from Yorkshire and is refrigerated throughout transport. Lewis & Jo were very happy with the job and we left their property clean and tidy as usual.
